Maxwell M. Dunlevy died February 15, 2017, at the Kansas City Hospice House. He was born December 7, 1936, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of H. Lui and Grayce Dunlevy. He was a graduate of Kansas University and worked in the graphic arts business.
Max’s kind and generous nature was obvious to all who knew him. He was happiest when he was helping someone, even in the midst of his own physical pain.
Survivors include his wife Betty Keating; daughter Alison Werremeyer and husband Richard; son Brad Dunlevy; and three grandchildren, Noah, Micah, and Sarah. Some of the many special friends in Max’s life were John Hughes, Lawrence, KS; Jim Hill, Kansas City, MO; and Janice O’Connor, Lone Jack, MO.
At Max’s request, no funeral service has been planned. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Heart of America Humane Society or Great Plains SPCA.
