Wanda Faye Komarek, 90, formerly of Ellinwood and Great Bend, Kansas, passed away May 23, 2017. Wanda was born October 7, 1926 in Jetmore, Kansas to Roy V, and Fern (Harman) Chipman. She was a long time member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, the Eastern Star, Great Bend Duplicate Bridge Club, the American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries. Wanda was an avid bridge player and enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She loved doggies

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Roy V Chipman Jr., husbands Robert I. Miller and Franklin W. Komarek. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Reynolds (Bill)and Karmi Green (Randy), 5 grandchildren Brian Prall (Becky) Dayla Faye Doll, Cara Wescott (Steven) Trenton Green (Bonny) and Brandon Green (Jenny) and 12 great grandchildren.

Wanda loved her family dearly. She will be deeply missed. Services will be at a later date as cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, Kansas City, Mo 64145 or to Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ellinwood, Kansas.
