Joy Marie (Beauchamp)  McMahon, 63, of Kansas City, MO passed away suddenly Saturday, June 3^rd, 2017. Her visitation, prayers and eulogy will be at noon Friday, June 9^th with Mass at 1pm. Services will be held at St. Thomas More Parish, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO.

Joy was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and attended St. Michaels Separate School for her elementary years, followed by Lockerby and Marymount College for her high school years.

Joy graduated from Laurentian University with a B.A. degree.  She furthered her education by obtaining her master’s degree in Library Science.

Upon moving to the U.S.A., Joy became a citizen, a Registered Nurse and served in the Army for many years as a Lieutenant, then as a Captain.

Joy was loved by many and will be deeply missed forever. She is survived by her daughter Shannon McMahon, father Al Beauchamp; her sisters Lise Bowes & Patty Segale, her niece Fiona Segale. She is preceded in death her mother Theresa Beauchamp.
