Susie - Cousin ,Baldwin City ,Kansas

On behalf of Susie and myself, I would like to say Jerome was a wonderfully kind man, and a lover of local history. I, Davey met him at the Johnson County Courthouse regarding June Walker's estate. Of course he recognized Susie right away and we had a nice visit. He and I talked about the Battle of Blackjack, near Baldwin for a good while. He was proud of a manifest he acquired of Colt pistols John Brown had ordered sent to Kansas, one of which is in my family. I am heartbroken to just now be learning of this, and Susie and I extended our deepest sympathies from the bottom of our hearts.
