Evelyn Leah (Smith) Tomkins

Our mother, Evelyn Leah (Smith) Tomkins, has passed away on July 5th, 2017.  

 
 
She was the last surviving child of Alison Dale and Una (Hines) Smith’s ten children.  She was born on January 28th, 1918. She was a retiree from the USDA with over 25 years of service.  She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.
 
 
She is survived by her daughter Alison J. Tomkins of Kansas City, KS; her son Mitchell B. Tomkins and his wife Donna of Auburn, GA; her grandson Ryan M. Tomkins and wife Carrie and their soon to be born son, Caelum Mitchell Tomkins of Winder, GA; and her granddaughters Holland M. Tomkins and Haley J. Tomkins, both of Auburn, GA.
