M. Jack McNellis

Jack McNellis, 86, passed away Tues., July 11, 2017 in Overland Park, KS. Services will be Mon., July 17 at St. Ann Catholic Church in the chapel, 7231 Mission Rd., Prairie Village, KS. Rosary at 10:00 am, followed by visitation. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

 

 

Jack was born Feb. 24, 1931 to James Carr McNellis and Ethel McNellis in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Glennon High School and attended Rockhurst College. He worked in retail management.

 

Jack is survived by four children, Kevin McNellis (Karen), Tara Ann McNellis (Ken Riggs), Kim Lewallen (Jim) and Kyle McNellis (Nancy), 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was also blessed with many friends.

 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann McNellis, his parents; 5 brothers James, Joseph, Francis Patrick and Leo, sister Mary Louise O’Hara.
