Linda S. Jones, 57, lost her five year battle with cancer on July 29, 2017. Linda was born Linda Susanne Brecht, daughter of Walter and Anna Brecht, in Kansas City, Missouri, 1950. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1968. Since then, Linda has lived her life to the fullest. Linda enjoyed her family, friends, adventures, traveling, helping others and just being happy. She will be remembered for her kind, loving and generous spirit.

Linda is survived by her three sons, Patrick, Sean and Robert Weeks, grandchildren Garrett, Nathan, and Kristina Weeks, Braden, Rylee and Claire Weeks, her father, Walter Brecht (Poppy), siblings, Kimberlie Brecht, Terry Schat, Brian Brecht, Scott Brecht and Michael Brecht. She is also survived by step-children and step-grandchildern, all of whom she loved dearly. Linda Jones was also close to and will be missed by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her mother, Anna Brech (Muz) predeceased her.

To honor her loving and giving spirit, we are hosting a Celebration of Life dinner at Parkview Community of Christ Church, 801 SW 19t StreetBlue Springs, MO  on August 12, 2017 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Kisses for Kinley (checks c/o Kyle Pinkley). Kinley is Linda’s neice who suffers from the incurarable and debilitating disease of MLD (Metachromatic Leukodystrophy).
