Robert N. "Bob" Hill, Jr., 61, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home in Overland Park, Kansas.  Bob worked as a CNC machinist for over 40 years.  He was a member of the first graduating class of Hickman Mills High School in 1974.  Bob was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching our hometown teams KC Royals and KC Chiefs.  Bob was born May 17, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert and Dixie Hill.  Bob was preceded in death by his father Robert Hill, Sr. and by his wife Constance P. (Pitts) Hill.  Bob is survived by his two sons Ian and Drew Hill,  mother Dixie Hill, sisters Kathy (Mark) Gerhardt and Karen (Mark) Bruns and sister-in-law Ginger (Doug) Pennington three grandchildren Blaine, Dakota and Brantley and several nieces and nephews.  The family is planning a private memorial.  The family suggests any memorial donations be made to the KU Cancer Center or Cancer Action of Overland Park.
