Norman L. Sharp, 70, of Lawson, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the home. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at the family home to commemorate his life. Please bring your favorite memory or a story to share.

Norman was born, March 16, 1947 in Clark, MO the son of Leon and Dorothy Current Sharp. He graduated from Slater High School in 1965. He worked for 42 years for the railroad and retired in 2007 from the BNSF. Norman was a veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Okinawa. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and a friend to all, he met no stranger. He was a lifelong cowboy having clowned many rodeos, breaking horses and trail riding with friends. Everybody wishes you a trail ride home.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Clyde and Della Current and Ed and Grace Sharp. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Sharp, three children; Jeff Sharp, Columbia, MO, Sheila Juenger, Kansas City, MO and Tony Brown, Kansas City, MO, brother, Larry Sharp and wife Kathy, Clark, MO, grandchildren; Taylor, Brooke Juenger and Trey Brown, aunts; Betty C. Roberts, Centralia, MO and Fay Daum and husband Kenney, Centralia, MO and many cousins.
