Salvatore J. Capra of Platte County, 68, passed peacefully on October 6th, 2017. Sal was born on November 24, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo & was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Sal Capra and his brother Dominic Capra (Colorado). He is survived by his wife Louise Annette Capra; his children, Sara Capra (Dan Bradford); Lisa (Jason) Franklin; & Sam (Lisa) Capra (Florida). Additional survivors include Mark (Claire) Capra; Deborah Capra (Colorado); six grandchildren: Caelin Bradford; Chiarra & Jason Franklin; Alaina Portera, Joseph & Gianna Capra (Florida); & two brothers from a different mother, Carl Capra & Danny Costello. In addition to being a great father, husband, & Poppi , Sal was a basketball star from 1963-67 at De La Salle High School, a connoisseur of great restaurants & great cigars, & never afraid of doing life his way, which will be celebrated in a small ceremony for immediate relatives and friends.
