J. Roger Lembke, 82, Overland Park, KS, died October 16, 2017.  He was born in KCMO on June 9, 1935, to Lowell and Margaret Koerper Lembke.  After graduating from Shawnee Mission High School in 1953, he received a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Kansas University.  Roger was employed by Bendix (Honeywell) for 32 years and retired in 1990.  He was a long-time member of Countryside Christian Church, serving as a Deacon and Board Chair.  After retiring, Roger enjoyed traveling and volunteer work.

Roger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet Lembke, his son David (Jan) Lembke, his daughter Donna (Greg) Cranford, grandchildren Erika Lembke, Kelly Lembke, Kurt Lembke, Kirsten (Kris) Morrison, Kelsey (Zach) Anderson, Courtney Cranford, great grandchildren James Lembke and Ryleigh Morrison.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 28th, at Countryside Christian Church with Visitation at 10:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
