Gilbert C. (Gib) Youngs passed away peacefully March 8, 2018, due to alzheimers.  He was born March 19, 1949 in O’Neil, Nebr.  He lived in Independence, Mo. most of his life.  Survivors include his wife, Colleen of 38 years.  2 sons, Ronald Youngs of Kansas City, Mo.& Benjamin Youngs (Christina) of Independence, Mo.; 2 sisters, Barbara Dawson (Bill) of Belton, Mo.& Kathy Davies (Cris) of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; 1 grandaughter & nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held at the chapel in White Oak Living Center at The Groves, 1515 W. White Oak, Independence, Mo. on March 19, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
