Darrell Lynn Martinez

Darrell Lynn Martinez, 61, of Fairway, Kansas, went to be with the Lord, March 12, 2018, with his family by his side at the Kansas City Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society to further research pancreatic cancer. Darrell was born April 10, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a meat cutter for 45 years in the Kansas City area, notably at Milgram's and Price Chopper. Darrell will be missed for his quick wit, one liner jokes and his great love and respect for his parents. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, he enjoyed life and he enjoyed people. Darrell  was loved by so many and will be deeply missed. 

 

 

Darrell is survived by his wife Deborah Triano Martinez, parents Helen and Gilbert Martinez, sister Linda Lyons (Jay), nieces Shelbi Green and Cheyanne Lyons, stepchildren Adrienne Kreutz and Moses Arroyo, 6 grandchildren; Deborah's daughters Taylor and Maggie Triano, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members and friends. 

 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 24 at First Baptist Church of Grandview, 1416 Main St., Grandview, Missouri.
