Scott Benton Self, Sr.  59, of Independence died Saturday, March 17, 2018. He was born in Sentinel, Okla. January 12, 1959. Scott was son of the late Paul and Gloria Self. 

 

He moved to Missouri in 1971 and graduated high school in Odessa. Scott was owner of Enviroduct Airduct Cleaning. 

 

Scott is survived by 3 children: daughter, Falon Self of Independence; daughter, Nicole Self of Kansas City; son, Scotty Self of Independence, and brother Don Self. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. Preceding him in death, his brothers, Tom Self and Bret Self. 

 

Memorial services are being held 2:00 -4:00 pm March 24, 2018 at LaBenite Park in Sugar Creek, Mo.
