Marilyn Jean Clawson, Age: 73

Marilyn Jean Clawson was born on August 29, 1944 in Carroll Iowa.  She lost her battle with cancer on March 18, 2018, at age 73.   She was a stay at home mom for many years, and later worked at the Little Treasures day care in Cleveland MO, then as a teacher in the Belton Head Start program.  So many children were loved and cared for by her over the years.  She was most proud of her grandchildren, and  great grandchildren who she always had time for. 

 

 

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Lewis, her mother, Desda Larkin, and her sister Phyllis Caldwell. 

 

 

 

Survivors include her husband John Clawson, daughter Jill Clawson (Todd Lawrence), and son Brian Scott Clawson.  Grandchildren Lauren, Britney, Jordan, Katie, Kelsey, Kaylie, and Brian, and great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Lola, Myah, Elliana, Spencer, Colt, and Ava. 

 

 

She never wanted to be the center of attention, but she made such an impact on our lives.  We will miss her always and are so thankful that she was ours
