Willie, The long day is done. Now the time has come for you to rest. You have enjoyed the fellowship of wonderful friends and colleagues. The Senior coffee groups at HyVee and McDonalds must now go on through life without your guidance. The Harbor Freight store will miss your loyalty and seems emptier without you. Every friend of yours has a favorite “Bill Johnson” story to tell and you will smile and remember. Lay down your head now Bill. Peace, Brother. Peace. George

Thinking of Mary Ann, Kate and all those that loved Bill. He did so much for this community & we are so grateful that we were to be among those that able to hear his inside scoop on politics & life in Parkville. Much love.

The Johnson family was one of the first my Bill and I met when we came to the Park Hill School District in 1952. Mary Ann, Kate and husband, and George, I send my deepest sympathy. I loved his humor; and I am glad that he was my friend. May he Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory!

Dear MaryAnn, Kate and George, My love and condolences to each of you on Bill’s death. My sister Joyce and I always had fun visiting your home in Parkville when we were kids. I remember the “bug collections,” stories of the one-room school house, the many MGs in the back yard and the practical jokes George and Bill pulled on Joyce and me. I wish I could be there with you tomorrow for Bill’s memorial. May God give you peace and happy memories. Love always, Cousin Carole

Mary Ann & Kate, I am so sorry for you loss. My heart goes out to you and I am sending many hugs and prayers your way. Bill was such a wonderful person and I always respected and looked up to him as many did in the Parkville Community. One of my fondest memories was helping him run for office and holding up campaign signs on voting day. He took all of us to McDonalds afterwards and bought us all the hamburgers we could eat! I'm sure my dad and had a place waiting for him at the great coffee club in heaven.

So sorry to hear that Bill passed away. If he had been sick we didn't know it. We remember him way back when he was a lifeguard at Mirror Lake Country Club and ran into him around Parkville. He was always a teaser.
