Gary G. Simpson, age 79, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., passed away March 31, 2018.  A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 14, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Independence.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m.  The Mass will begin at 11 a.m.  Gary was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Olivia; daughter Sandovar Stibal, of Chicago; son, Scott Tyler Simpson (Tiffany) of KC, and 5 grandchildren; Madison, Dylan and Samuel Stibal, and Ellie and Aidan Simpson. He is also survived by a sister, Pat Claiborne (Wes) of Tulsa, OK,  all of whom will miss him dearly. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Church
