Dear Cindy, Brian and Daniel, I cannot find the words to express my sadness and horror of the passing of Emily. Gail and I often discuss our lack of understanding of why bad things happen to the nicest people. You trust God has a plan for all but losing Emily certainly raises questions of that plan. We will pray for all of you and Emily and ask God to give you peace as we all remember Emily. May God bless all of you.

I am saddened by Emily's passing, though I did not know her. My mother was Hazel Scott Oegerle, my grandmother was Mable LaGree Scott, and my great grandmother was Grandma LaGree. I fondly remember Dick and Beverly from family get-togethers in Newton. I send my sympathy to Emily's family, along with my prayers. I know your memories of her will remain always in your hearts. With love and God's blessings, Jane Alonzo

My father was Richard LaGree's first cousin ,Fairway ,Kansas

Bryan and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your daughter. I have been trying in recent years to connect with family, and this is a very sad way to do it. I used to babysit for you, Bryan, and for Jane, when I lived in Manhattan and was a student there. My father, Myron Scott, was a first cousin of your father, Dick. I would love to see Dick and Beverly again. I am not sure what their situation is. About a year ago, I connected with Carol LaGree in Wichita. I am married and live in Fairway so maybe it is possible to see you and catch up. Your daughter sounds so lovely. I am so sorry for your loss. Laura Scott (email is laurascott5522@gmail.com)
