On Thursday, June 14, 2018, Vivian Ruth Robbins Dunham Rivera of Lee's Summit, Missouri graduated from this life to the place Jesus had prepared for her in the next life.
She was born May 24, 1931 in Maple Springs, Independence County, Arkansas, the youngest of 8 children of William F. Robbins and Frances Jane Hyatt. Ruth, as her family and friends called her, was a graduate of Oil Trough High School Class of 1949. She enjoyed gardening and sharing the produce in tasty dishes she would serve to friends and family who were blessed to sit at her table. Though a very generous and kind person, she still managed to frequently beat those who challenged her skill in various card games.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all seven of her siblings. She is survived by her 3 children: Donna Dunham Koch (Steve), Art Dunham (Jenny) and Eddie Dunham (Kellie) ; 3 grandsons: Brian Koch, Craig Koch and Christopher Dunham; 3 granddaughters: Christy Dunham, Katy Dunham and Tracie Dunham; 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews in Arkansas and throughout the country.
Current mortuary arrangements are by the Cremation Society of Missouri and Kansas. There will be a Celebration Life Service 4:00 July 6 at 633 SW Burry St, Lee's Summit Missouri. There will be another memorial service at Maple Springs Cemetery, Independence County Arkansas at a time to be announced
