Clay M. Collins, 89, of Kansas City, MO, Passed away Wed., July 4, 2018. Memorial services will be 11:00 am Sat. July 14, 2018 at the Gashland Baptist Church, 601 NE Barry Rd., Kansas City, MO 64155. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.

 

Clay was born April 21, 1929, Detroit, MI the son of James and Dorcie Osgatharp Collins. He retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant, and later from TWA. Clay was a civil war reenactor and Blue Grass Musician.

 

Clay is survived by his wife, Nancy, children; Kathy (Jeff) Hurt, Cindy (Kevin) Johnson, Merry (Walt) Anderson, Ellen (Rocky) Buchan and Richard (Nancy) Manley, seven grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
