Wanda Gilson

Wanda Gilson, 85, of Olathe, KS, passed away September 14, 2018. Visitation will be 9:30 am, followed by Mass at 10:00 am at Cure of Ars, 9401 Mission Rd., Leawood, KS, Saturday, September 22, 2018.

 

Wanda was born in Reed Springs, MO to Jack and Cora Roberts. She graduated Reed Springs High School. After graduating from high school, she attended Drury University in Springfield, MO and later St. Johns School of Nursing, becoming a RN. Wanda loved caring for people.

 

Widowed three times, Wanda is preceded in deaths by her husbands Joe Bush Jackson, Gene Finley and James H. Gilson, her parents; siblings Bob Roberts, Viola Melton and Gene Roberts, sons Robert G. Halbert and James K. Finley. 

 

She is survived by her children Joe Jackson, Michelle Thomas, James Gilson Jr., Teri Baker, Cathy Buchanan, Lisa Saxton and Marianne Benton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
