Donald “Donnie” David Dailey, 80, of Ottawa, Kansas (former resident of Gardner, KS), passed away February 8, 2019 at Richmond Healthcare and Rehab Center, Richmond, Kansas.

Donnie was born February 13, 1938 in Overland Park, Kansas; son of William and Marie (DuPont) Dailey. He married Linda West March 14, 1970.Donnie was an excellent carpenter and enjoyed hunting and gardening. But most of all, he loved his family and adored his grandchildren.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father William Dailey, mother Marie Dailey, sister Theresa Gast and his brother Kenneth Dailey.

Donnie is survived by his wife Linda Dailey of Ottawa, Kansas; daughters Janette Mahan (Tom) of Paola, Kansas, Katharine Meinert (Tim) of Linwood, Kansas, Deborah Shephard (Justin) of Yates Center, Kansas; granddaughters Ashleigh and Savanah McDaniel, Hailey and Erin Shepard, brother Edward Dailey (Lucy) of Gardner, Kansas; niece, nephews and their families.
