Robert Earl Iliff, Jr.
 

 

Robert Earl Iliff, Jr., 83, died Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Garden Terrace nursing home in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born in Hammond, Indiana, on April 27, 1935, to Eva J. Frisk and Robert Iliff. A fifty-year resident of Orlando, Florida, Bob is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Eleanor M. (Marchione) Iliff. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Warren and Janet Mary (Vogel) Iliff; and his granddaughter, Amelia Margaret

Iliff.

 

 

Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Bob retired from the Navy after 20 years of service in 1973. He continued to work in numerous roles throughout his life, but was most proud of his Navy career. Bob’s ashes are to be interred in Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later time

Bob and Eleanor were part of my family for 47 wonderful years, not only were they considered family but my Beat Friends. The memories I have I will cherish for the rest of my life. I will miss our lunches and many phone calls over the last few years. I was truly Blessed to have you in my life.
