Yvonne “Bonnie” Larae (Miller) Haney died of complications from Alzheimer’s Disease at Monterey Park Healthcare Center. At her request Bonnie will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held in summer when the entire family and friends can be together.
Bonnie was born in Lakefield, Minnesota. Bonnie’s love of traveling started a very young age. She has lived in multiple states in her life time; Minnesota, Utah, Oklahoma, Washington, California, Wisconsin, Nevada, and lastly Missouri to be near her daughter.
Bonnie enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She really liked to watch football. Her favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed playing card games and board games throughout her life. She loved fishing with her family. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. She was very talented and created her own patterns. She has made multiple afghans for multiple family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan Miller and Ester Ball, her brothers Donald Miller and Douglas Miller, and her sister Mavis Rasmussen.
She is survived by her children and their families: Pamela and Scott Hinrichs (Blue Springs, MO), Dean Haney (Janesville, WI), Donald Haney (Ocala, FL), and Howie & Patti Punzel (Ft. Wayne, IN); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
