Robert “Richard” Weitzel, beloved husband to Michael; father to Carolyn Hatchel, Kim and Rusty Hendricks, Jonathan Weitzel, Jenny Weitzel and Zachary Stoppa; brother to Debbie Frizzell and Dale Frizzell (Deceased), Bill and Annie Weitzel, beloved friend to Louise Weitzel; grandfather to Dalton & Drew Hendricks, Caden and Tanner Hatchel; nephew, cousin and uncle to family members; was called to our Father’s house on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 8:32 am.
He now rests from his labors, in Heaven’s garden alongside his mother and father, Marietta and Robert “Bob” Weitzel, infant son Matthew, and all those family and friends who have gone before him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 26th at Meyer Funeral Chapel, located at 1600 Main Street, Blue Springs, Missouri from 5-7 pm, followed by a Christian ceremony on Saturday, April 27th, at the same facility, Meyer Funeral Chapel at 10:00 am. A reception will be held at the family home following the service.
