Dr. Kathy King, my life-long friend, I would like to express my sincerest condolences on the passing of your loving partner Brian. You and Dr. Grace Ketterman were there for him through years of struggle and pain. I know he rests in peace now. Thank you for all you both did, day in and day out to keep Brian as comfortable as could be. He was a great helper to you both too, I think the last two times I was over, he was on the riding lawnmower, something he clearly loved doing. You three made a great team and I know his loss will be difficult. I love you both so much!!

To My Dear Friend Kathy, Although I never had an opportunity to meet Brian, I know how much you cared for him from the loving stories and compassionate care you gave so selflessly. You are one of my favorite people—so wise Anderson inspiring. I know he cherished you, too. All my love and support for you during this sad time. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. —Psalm 139:9–10

As I think back on my time with Brian, I remember his strong confidence and command. I am still struck by his control of “Preacher” that was one bad-ass dog, always in Brian's control. After his diagnosis, he showed a genuine humble and resoulute confidence. I most value our talks on faith salvation and God’s will. I take great comfort in his complete faith in his salvation. Thanks to Brian’s family for their support and time, well done guys. I so value all Kathy did. She showed unconditional love but never enabled his "challenged" habits. Thanks to Grace as well for council and friendship. Bye my friend, lyndon
