Larry D Loftis Sr., 76, of Kansas City, MO passed away Tues., June 4, 2019. Larry was born May 8, 1943, in Holt County, MO the son of Henry and Twyla (George) Loftis. He retired from Ford Motor Co., KCAP after 42 years, a member of UAW Local 249 and a veteran of the US Air Force. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Mary Wilson and brother, Robert Loftis He is survived by his wife, Betty, son Larry (Jennifer) Loftis Jr and daughters, Rhonda (Tony) Crane and Larissa (Ken) Busch, siblings Loeta WoJahn, Linda Hurtado, Henry Loftis, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 12:30 PM., June 15, at the North Heartland Community Church, 4800 NW 88th St., Kansas City, MO 64154. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sorry I couldn't be at his service to say goodbye. He was a greater influence and role model than he knew. I wish I could have told him so.
