April was one of the greatest people I have ever met. A true considerate, loving, and passionate person. She did so much to bring friends together and always made it a point to make sure those she loved were taken care of. April and Unca always had their door open for me and many others when we were in town. She helped build lifetime friendships in our music community that I cherish to this day. My heart goes out to Unca, family, and friends at this time. I am sad that I can not make the celebration of life this Friday, but her spirit and memory will be celebrated in a big way this weekend in Colorado, when Widespread Panic plays Red Rocks. She will be there with us all. We will be sending the love in a big way. Fly on precious lady. You are so loved!

I am so sorry to hear of April’s passing. April was such a great friend in high school - I have such fond memories of her. She was always full of life and energy and brought a sense of adventure to our group! Although the miles between us separated us over the years, she had always remained in my heart. My thoughts are with all of her family and friends!

My deepest condolences to the Sticks and Dunlay families. I will remember April as a warm, caring, and loving soul who was beloved by her family and those fortunate enough to know her. I will think happy thoughts and my memories will be joyous, as I know she would have wanted, but my heart is a bit heavy knowing that we have one less special person among us.
