Edward "Wilson" Allee, 83, of Independence, Missouri, and his lake residence at Lake Ozark, Missouri, died on January 13, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. He was born to Paul and Irene Allee on May 10, 1936. He was the oldest of two children. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Paul Allee, and his parents.
Wilson married Margaret Garrett on May 3, 1958. Together, they have three children: Pam Otis (Rick), Doug Allee (Lori) and Penny Armstrong (Tom). He was a loving, devoted Papaw to Dirk Otis, Jillian Gregg (Patrick), Lindsay Allee, Ryan Allee, Megan Armstrong and Delaney Armstrong. His first great-grandson will be born this spring and named Wilson in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Kansas City Hospice as the organization was a source of help, comfort and caring during the last weeks of Wilson's life. A private family memorial will be held

Never have anything to say that’s really helpful but Wilson was a very good friend during our college years and we’ve actually thought of you both on many occasions but with the many miles separating us, our only contacts were Christmas cards and email. Times like this make you sorry and ashamed for the lack of effort. Much love Margaret. Glad you’ve got lots of family around. ❤️
