Friend ,Santee ,California

We had many long talks. We really found we had many things in common. We shared many things that happened in our life. We both enjoyed the sunshine in CA Dennis and Jan were our children. They shared a happy life and gave us three wonderful grandchildren; Lisa, Evan and Colleen. We now have great grandchildren Faith, Emma, Duncan and Violet. Grandma Joanie save a spot in heaven for me and we can finish our talks. I love you. Sue

Mom, the last time I saw you, you reminded me how much you loved me and how happy you were that your daughter married me. You said you knew I was the right guy when I showed up for our first date with flowers. Thanks so much for your beautiful daughter who I will always love more than life itself. Please know that I will always love her and take care of her and your grandchildren and great grandchildren as long as I am able. I love you and I'm going to miss you until we meet again in that place Jesus Christ has prepared for us. God bless you.

I am sorry for your loss. Joan was an accomplished poet, mentor, and Mom. I really felt SEEN at her house, in a way that I wasn't at my own house. Joan always had a unique take on the world, and the way it SHOULD operate. She will be missed.
