Judith Aielene Tucker, 66 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away at her home on Friday, November 6, 2020 after many years battling cancer.

 

Judith was born on Sunday, December 27, 1953 in Dodge City, Kansas. She was the daughter of Edward Nelson & Annabelle (Braley) Thompson. She attended Dodge City Junior High School and Dodge City Senior High School. Born a Thompson, she later married Wade Tucker and they begat one child, her son, Christopher Wade Tucker.

 

After moving to Kansas City, Missouri in 1970, Judith worked for the Jackson County Jail and was an active participant for Civil Rights as a member of Freedom Incorporated for several years. A “people person” with the gift of gab, she held several jobs over the years in public service.

 

Judith was preceded in death by her parents.

 

She is survived by her son Christopher Wade Tucker and her siblings, 2 sisters; Carolyn Anne Thompson, Grace Maynell Thompson and 2 brothers; Edward  Nelson (Janet) Thompson Jr., and Timothy Adrian Thompson, her nephews; Kai Lynn Scott, Caleb Tyson Thompson, Brandon Michael Thompson, Justin Michael Thompson and Trae Anthony Williams, her niece's; Kia A. Watson, Stephanie Anne (Stephen) Johnson, Sydney Michelle Thompson, Shadai Nicole (Nick) King as well as a host of great-niece's and nephews, many cousins and many, many friends.
