Roxann L. Kellogg
Nov 22, 1944 - Jul 01, 2021

Roxann L. Kellogg of Overland Park, Kansas passed away peacefully on July 1st, 2021 surrounded by family and friends in her daughter’s Lake Quivira home. Roxann was born on November 22, 1944 to Rodney and Veda Sutter in Slater, Iowa, where she enjoyed a classic small-town upbringing and was known for her fun-loving personality. As a young adult, Roxann moved to Ames, Iowa and worked for the Department of Transportation alongside her beloved father. In 1965, she married Larry O. Tweed of Randall, Iowa and the couple moved to Des Moines and had two children, Marc and Jennifer. The family later moved to Omaha, Nebraska and then to the suburbs of Kansas City, where Roxann put down permanent roots.

Later in life, Roxann again found love and married Raymond “Reno” Kellogg and her cherished family expanded to include four step-children and numerous grandkids. The couple loved to travel, entertain family and friends, take in live music performances, and simply enjoy each other’s company in their Lenexa, KS home.

Roxann was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Veda Sutter; a brother, Sam Sutter; and husband Reno Kellogg. She is survived by her brother Rick Sutter of Wall, SD; son Marc Tweed and spouse Jeanine of Seattle; daughter Jennifer Beardslee and spouse Steve of Lake Quivira; step-children Tony Kellogg (Brandon, SD), Jules Kellogg (Overland Park, KS), Maria Kellogg (Overland Park, KS), and Joe Kellogg (Chicago, IL); and grandchildren Henry Tweed, Sam Beardslee, Charlie Beardslee, Lila Jane Beardslee, George Kellogg, Rose Kellogg, Ike Kellogg, Maximo Kellogg, and Charlie Kellogg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please do something kind for someone in need and think of Roxann, who always thought of others before herself.
