I was so sad to hear of Teresa's passing. She was a wonderful person that loved the Chiefs as much as me. She was always willing to help, and did it with a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed.

My second span of working with her, though I kind of forgot the first one. I was concerned about her health and talked to her about it the first time we were coworkers. It was sad for me to hear about the circumstances of her death and to wonder if I did everything I could. I am interested in going into the medical field, and I hope in the future I will be less polite and more brave. Theresa seemed very brave. It is of some comfort she was 61, and involved with church- as the answers to the Big Questions are found, from the Bible. John 10:10

I was so saddened to learn of Teresa's passing. We were friends & co-workers at MOCSA. She was one of the kindest, most generous, helpful, giving people I've ever known! She had a positive attitude & was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her! She will be missed! Prayers to all of the family during this difficult time! Take comfort in knowing she is now among God's heavenly angels! Rest in peace! Sharon Booker

I will always remember Teresa as a soft spoken young lady who loved playing baseball and loved her family. She will be joined in Heaven with her dad Jon and her brother Kevin. Teresa always loved her church and was a wonderful caregiver for her mother

I got to work with Teresa, and she was always so kind & helpful. One time she donated a bunch of KC Chiefs toys to our play therapy program. What a generous heart! I have missed working with her since she left that job, and I am sad to learn of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted her white sails with a golden light and as she disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered "she is gone" on the farther shore a little band of friends had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly they caught sight of a tiny sail and the very moment when my companion had whispered "she is gone" a glad shout went up in joyous welcome "Here she comes!" This poem has always brought me solace during times of great loss - saddened to learn of my dear friend passing, she was an amazing soul. Sincere condolences 💐
