Aaron Dale Lawson, 59, of Kansas City, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at his home.
Born Sept. 22, 1961 in Unionville, Mo., to Alva Edgar and Loretta Clark Lawson, Aaron grew up in Centerville, Iowa, graduating from Centerville High School in 1980. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Strode in 1984, and they had three children. They later divorced.
Aaron spent most of his life in Kansas City working in internet technology. He was a lifelong KISS fan and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Aaron is survived by his parents, of Kansas City; daughter Kendra Wheeler and her husband Matt and their three daughters, Amelia, Ruth and Vivian, of Midvale, Utah; daughter Kelsey Wheeler and her husband Waylon and their three daughters, Lillian, Scarlette and Bailey, of Kansas City, Kansas; son Asa Lawson of Kansas City, Mo; brothers Russ Lawson and his wife Lesli of Grimes, Iowa and Neil Lawson and his wife Jeanette of Gladstone, Mo.; and a sister, Winona Whitaker of Clinton, Iowa and her significant other, Dennis Wright.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Loretta and Edgar, We are so sorry for your loss. We will be praying for comfort at this season in life. It has to be really hard when you lose a child. I remember coming and staying with you to help you with Aaron after Russ was born. He is not suffering now. God be with you. Bob and Barb
