George T. Hadsall Jr., 65, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones. 




A graduate of the University of Kansas, “Tom” spent 25 years employed by Butler Manufacturing in Design, Sales, and Project Management.  He continued in this field with his own consulting company, His work took him abroad to countries around the world where he enjoyed taking part in new cultures, languages, and discovering unique foods.




An avid photographer, Tom documented many of his travels to share with friends and family. In addition to his love of travel and photography, Tom rarely missed any Jayhawk basketball games, and his love of sport extended to the other local teams.  He took immense pride in a job well done, whether in his office, fixing things around the house, grilling out or trying new recipes.




Tom is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia A. Hadsall of Overland Park, Kansas. He leaves behind his father, George T. Hadsall Sr. of Overland Park, Kansas, two sisters, Debra A. Carson of Independence, Missouri, Carol L.Yeamans (Dell) of Anna, Texas, two sons, Thomas S. Hadsall and Allan J. Hadsall of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and various other relatives, friends, and loved ones.



A Celebration of Life will be held at the Matt Ross Community Center, 8101 Marty, Overland Park, Kansas 66204 in the Crown Room on Friday, October 1 between 1-3 pm.  This is an informal gathering to meet with family.  Come and go as you please
