On Sunday, November 20^th, 2022, Treva Dee Drysdale, passed away at the age of 83. Treva Dee and her twin brother Joseph Lee Kusmierz were born July 8^th, 1939, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. She married Elton Drysdale in July of 1959 and they remained married until his death in 2009, together they raised two daughters, Angela and Rebecca. Treva had a passion for animals, refinishing wood, and painting. She loved riding her horse on trails and back roads. There never was a thrift store she did not stop at. She managed Wayside Waifs for many years and after retirement worked in the equine department at the Family Center Farm & Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Treva Dee was preceded in death by her father Joseph Kusmierz, her mother Treva Kusmierz, her brother Joseph Lee Kusmierz, and husband Elton. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Starr and Angela Drysdale, grandsons Adam Starr and Matthew Starr, granddaughter Shelby Zoellers, great grandsons Oliver and Thomas, great granddaughters Charlie, Sofie, and Rori.

Memorial service will be held in central Arkansas at a later date. At this time because Treva Dee had such a love of animals and worked so many years finding homes for unwanted pets, we would like to honor her by having everyone donate to Wayside Waifs instead of sending flowers.
