Andrew Alan Rives

Andrew Alan Rives was born to Linda Sue Maxwell Rives and Denney Wakefield Rives on May 21, 1980 and died November 28, 2022. Andrew's family lived in Archie, Missouri until 1991 when they moved to Harrisonville, Missouri. Andrew graduated from Harrisonville High School, Central Missouri University, and Webster University. His primary occupation was as a high school social studies teacher and assistant wrestling coach at Harrisonville High School. The years teaching were his happiest. He is survived by his mother, father, and brother, Matthew Linden Rives.

 

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Country Club Christian Church, Combs Chapel, 6101 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri. Reception to follow service.

I was so stunned to hear of Andrew’s passing. My deepest condolences and prayers to his family and friends. Spent many Saturdays cheering him on at wrestling event for Harrisonville. Will always remember him as a positive and respectful person.

Hearing of Mr. Rives passing was and still is a shock. He was an incredible teacher and mentor and made getting through highschool a little more bearable
