Alva “Dean" Casey, 65, Kansas City North, passed away August 27, 2024 at LMH in Lawerence, KS. Dean was born June 20, 1959 in Kansas City, MO and lived most of his life in Kansas City. Dean enjoyed building, remodeling and any challenging home improvement project. His mother (Lorene Casey), father (Richard Casey), brothers (Willis Young, Clifton Casey and Ronald Young), preceded him in death. Survivors include his five siblings, Roxie, Debbie, Trudy, Pat, and Jackie; sister-in law (Leah Young) and many nieces and nephews.

I just read that Dean passed in August. My sincere condolences to the entire family. The family was a lot smaller back then. Jackie-- Crystal ( Lil'Bit) was getting ready to have her first child. Everyone was so nice to me. Patrick cooked dinner at our house in Blue Springs for your parents, Dean, and I. We met at Allis Chalmers. I've never forgotten him and I know his passing hurts.
