Sheila A. Cain

Sheila A. Cain, 72, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Shawnee Mission Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1952, in Kansas City, MO, and spent most of her life in the Kansas City area.
Sheila graduated from St. Luke’s Nursing School in 1977 and dedicated 42 years of her career as a Registered Nurse in hospitals, home health, and case management. She had a passion for camping, gardening, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Harold K. Foster and Kathleen E. Foster, and her brother, Kenneth P. Foster. She is survived by her husband, Robert R. Cain; her son, Eric Cain, and his wife, Jeanette; four grandchildren, Garrett, Devin, Brenna, and Griffin Cain, all of Olathe, KS; four sisters, Nisa Fleming (Mark Conrad) of Colorado Springs, CO, Emelda McNamara of Concord, NC, Eileen Darrah of San Antonio, TX, and Brigid Foster of Concord, NC; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Heavy of New York, NY and Terri Cain of Olathe, KS; along with many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will be no services at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
