Pat Brady, 76, passed away on November 21, 2024, at Norterre Nursing Home in Liberty, MO, of complications from Arthritis and Alzheimer’s.  He was born on March 17, 1948, in Port Huron, Michigan, to Wilbur (Bill) and Marie Brady. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Marie; his sisters Sue (Tom) Shepherd and Sharon (Joe) Eisele. Pat is survived by his wife of 56 hears, Mary K. (Hogan) Brady and sons, Shawn (Crystal) Brady of Grain Valley, MO and Kevin (Kari) Brady of Kansas City, and 8 grandchildren, Jackson, Amelia, Avery, Aiden, Victoria, Andrew, Sophia, and Audrey Brady; two brothers, Jerry (Ginny) Brady of Sarasota, Florida, and Larry (Sharon) Brady of Kansas City.

Pat moved to Kansas City in 1957 and attended St. Gabriel’s grade school. He graduated from De LaSalle in 1966 and attended Central Missouri State College for 2 years where he met the love of his life, Mary K. Hogan.

Pat retired from the KC Fire Department in 2008, after 36 ½ years of service. He was one of 8 original EMTs for the Department. He had Pat’s Roofing Company for 15 years. He enjoyed raising his family and Boy Scouts.  He was an Eagle Scout along with his 2 sons and he was a Scoutmaster for Troop 21 at St. Therese in Parkville, MO. He loved all sports; coaching 3^rd and 4^th grade basketball at St. Therese. He was an avid hunter and loved his hunting dogs.  He also loved gardening and camping with his family and traveling all over America and the world with Mary. After retirement he enjoyed golfing and being a Marshall at Paradise Point in Smithville for 7 years.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Holy Family Church at 919 NE 96^th St., Kansas City, MO. Visitation at 10:00 am, and Mass at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon for all.
