John Peter See

John Peter See passed away after a battle with congestive heart failure at Research Medical Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri the night of December 27th, 2024. John was 71 years old.

 

John was born on November 19, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The son of James and Elizabeth (Keitges) See. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Roeland Park, Kansas where he graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. He attended Johnson County Community College and Kansas State University where he received both an Associates Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. After graduation John began his long career as a manufacturers representative in the Kansas City area. 

 

John had a deep love for music. At an early age he became a drummer, making many lifelong friends through his passion of performing live and attending many concerts. He enjoyed being social, taking any opportunity to bring his family and friends together. He had a brilliant sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and was a captivating storyteller. He will truly be missed by so many people who loved him, and whom he loved dearly.

 

He is survived by his wife Cynthia See, daughter Jillian, son Andrew and wife Mackenzie Madeira along with brother Michael See and wife Michelle See, and sister-in-law Nancy See. John's wishes were to be cremated.

 

A celebration of life for John will be announced at a later date.

Cyndee: So sorry for the loss of John. He was a great friend and will be missed greatly. He always had a such a great laugh that many times turned to tears after another one of Gary’s nutty stories. Just remember we are here for you. We love ❤️ you!!
