Cheryl Kathryn Fiscus, 79, passed away on October 24, 2026.

Born in Clinton, Iowa, on September 22, 1947, Cheryl spent much of her early life in Iowa, calling Clinton, Maquoketa, and Des Moines home. She later lived in Moline, Illinois, for many years before eventually making her home in the Kansas City area.

During her time in Missouri, Cheryl was a member of Connection Point Church in Raytown, where she formed friendships and became part of a church community that held a special place in her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Holm II; her mother, Carole Kathryn Steadman, formerly Carole Kathryn Holm; and her brother, Charles Holm III.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Fiscus, and son-in-law, Brian; her sister, Celeste; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Aubrie, Allison, Chuck, Sarah, and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind many cousins on her mother's side of the family, along with dear friends from her church community.

Cheryl was cremated, and her urn will be laid to rest in Clinton, Iowa, where it will be interred above her father's resting place, returning her to the community where her life began.

She will be remembered by her family, friends, and all those who shared a part of her life's journey.
