Marian Jeanne Clariday, 89, Independence, Missouri, passed away October 20, 2019.  Jeanne was born in Glenrock, Wy.  She attended Central Missouri State College, was a teacher in a 1-room schoolhouse in Millville, Mo.  She retired from Armco Steel Corp. after 20+ years.  Jeanne and husband Jay were founding members of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.  Jeanne treasured her dog Fritzi.  Jeanne was a musical person, sang in choir, played piano and would sing at drop of a hat.  Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents, Marian and Everett Green; husband Jay; son Mark, sister Fran, brothers Mel Green and Bill Green.  She is survived by daughter Kim McKinney, grandsons Dustin(Jen) McKinney, Scott McKinney, granddaughter Kristin Pilgrim and families and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Thank you to staff at The Groves-Rosewood Health Center.
