During this time of sorrow, may you receive healing through this word from the Lord. “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we belive that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.” St. Louis, Missouri October 26, 2019 The Shiloh Temple Church of God in Christ joins with the body of believers to celebrate the promotion of Brother Willie Lee Newsome, who now resides with the saints of the ages in that mansion prepared for him. We join with Mother Pearlie Newsome and the entire Newsome family and extended family and the Calvary Chapel Church of God in Christ in reflecting on a wonderful life of a revered saint of Christ. The Word of the Lord declares that “we spend our years as a tale that is told.” To attempt to chronicle Brother Willie Lee Newsome’s life would be an exercise in futility. His life and his works speak for him, they have eternal value and will not be forgotten. The God of “All Comfort” has given us the gift of memory. That is the precious gift through which we remember and relive the pleasant experiences of the past. Through it we also find comfort and help in the hours of sorrow and loneliness. “Precious Memories, how they linger? How they ever flood my soul. In the stillness of the midnight, Precious secrets to unfold” Our prayers are with you for comfort and strength and we commend you into the hands of our loving gracious Lord. Lovingly submitted by, Shiloh Temple Church of God in Christ Bishop Marvin Sanders, Pastor
