Timothy Lee "Tim" Tierney

Tim Tierney, 72, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away November 27, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospice House after a long illness. Services will be held 11:00 am, December 14 at Willard Avenue Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

 

Tim was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Jesse and Grace Tierney at Bethany Hosiptal. He graduated Argentine High School and served in the Army, specializing in communications. He lived in Excelsior Estate, Missouri for several years before returning to Kansas City, Kansas. He will be laid to rest in Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gerald and Bruce Tierney.

 

He is survived by his daughter Grace Dorries (Justin), sisters Judy Waller and Carol Conkling (Gary), two grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.
