Charlene Louise Fetters, Nov. 12, 1948, to Feb. 3, 2020, was born in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Clifton William Wallace and Juanita Marie Brittingham.

Cliff and Juanita raised nine children: Charlene, Vivian (Kay), Patricia (Patty), Virginia (Ginger), David, William (Billy Joe), James (Red), Charlie, and Betty (Becky). Charlene raised her four children, William (Billy), Paul, Roy and Melinda, in Independence, Missouri. She worked evenings at Olive Garden and UMB Bank for 30 years and was considered a hard worker by her colleagues. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren — Bobby, Destinee, Casey, Sabrena, Afton, Roy Jr., Michael, Annabelle, Liam and Lylah. Charlene loved Dolly Parton and enjoyed crocheting blankets for her friends and family. Many people will remember Charlene fondly.

 Her celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 7 from 3-5:30 p.m. at Bridge Space located at 210 SW Market St., Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
