Richard "Tom" Reid

Tom Reid died June 14, 2020. Washington HS graduate 1972.  King Ranch (TX) stalwart for 25 years, lately cared for his mother here in KC. He was 65.

My parents were close friends with Tom's mother, Joyce. I have fond, yet vague, memories of going to their house and seeing lots of puppies. I was shocked to hear of Tom's passing from my mother, Carolyn Jennett. He had been such a help to his mother in her later years. Mom said losing Tom was like losing his mother all over again. My condolences to his family.

Dear Inky, Ed and Allie, Tom’s death notice was a sad surprise, knowing only that he was suffering symptoms of COPD. After his years of devotion to Joyce I had hoped for him to enjoy life on his terms - hunting, poker, reading, sports. I’m certain his loss to you is felt greatly. He was a good man, a good brother.
