Gary Duane Edwards, age 77, of Lake Lotawana, MO, passed away at home on July 25, 2020. Gary was born in Clinton, MO, on January 5, 1943, to Marvin and Fern (Morolf) Edwards.
He graduated from Paseo High School in 1961 and moved to Lake Lotawana in 1968. Gary was a Maintenance Crew Chief for TWA and American Airlines, retiring in 2008. Gary could fix anything and enjoyed working on all kinds of motors. He enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors and watching & feeding the birds. Gary loved animals and rescued everything from squirrels and racoons to dogs and cats.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ruth; his children: Cheryl (William, Jr.) Schmidt, Susan (Mike) Termini, Kevin (Margo) Edwards, Terri Adame, Eric (Krishna) Weller, Rodger (Leann) Weller and Michelle (Rhyan) Reynolds; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale, and granddaughter, Kyleigh.

i first met gary at mkc at Charles wheeler airport in 1969. we worked together with a great group at the twa facility. we both were laid off December 1970 and didn't meet up again until march 1973 at the overhaul base...gary was fun to work with and did a great job. rest in peace my friend....john Jennings (TWA)
