Clifton Rene Howard, Age: 61

May 19, 1959 - Aug 23, 2020

Clifton R. Howard 61, was born to George and Geraldine Howard on May 19, 1959 at KU Medical Center. Clifton was the fourth of five children, the third son of his parents, both who have preceded him in death.  He attended Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri graduating in 1978. Cliff was a kind and caring man, a loving step-father and grandfather, wonderful brother and good friend. He loved his family and friends, always enjoying their company, having a good time, laughing and enjoying life. Cliff also enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and going fishing. His talent for dancing the two - step, did not go unnoticed! As a smooth two-stepper, he and his significant other Stella Ballard, made a great dancing team. They danced great together for many years. Cliff could not pass up a good home cooked meal. Stella loved to cook for him along with certain meals from the women in his family, he always appreciated their labor of love. He loved family reunions because it brought the family together as a whole. When it came to his siblings, they were very close and losing their parents early in their lives drew them even closer. They kept a vow in their hearts to love and support each other.

Clifton retired from the Kansas City Public Works as a heavy equipment operator. He acknowledged good friends always appreciating them. Many were in his corner for many years and he in theirs. Cliff will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
