Margaret D. “Marge” Miller, 84, of Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully September 12, 2020. The visitation will be from 11 a.m - 12 p.m. Thursday, September 17, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66214. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery following Mass. 

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Marge was born September 10, 1936 in Pierce City, MO.  After marrying her husband Richard “Dick” in June 1957, they established residence in Kansas City, KS. Before going back to college for nursing, she was a full time mother and homemaker for 15 years. In 1979, Marge became a Registered Nurse and worked as a nurse for 18 years. After retirement, Marge and Dick enjoyed daily crossword puzzles, traveling, church work, spending time with family, and occasionally going to the casinos. Her family remembers her as a spunky, fun-loving, and adventurous woman. Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dick, her parents, Wright and Dora (Elbert) Hirsch; sister, Joyce Mulkey; brother, Freddie Joe Hirsch, and granddaughter, Madelyn Miller. She is survived by her two sons, Gary (Nancy) and Chuck, four grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Margaret, and Morgan, brothers, Jerry and John Hirsch, sister, Jeanie Harmon, and many nieces and nephews.
